April Minutes
The April meeting of
the Hiawathaland Corvette Association was called to
order by President Don Buskovick at 7:30 on April 10th at the
Knights of Columbus Hall.
The treasurer’s
report was read.
Old Business: As of last month, there has not been anyone
in charge of putting together our newsletters.
After some discussion it was decided that for now we won’t have a
newsletter but will see if Cheryl Braget will put the minutes on the
website. Patti H will contact Cheryl and
report back at the next meeting.
Julie reported that
after our last meeting a member of the Young Life Cake Auction committee had
called her and asked if we would still be interested in providing a cake for
the auction. As it had been approved at
the last meeting, Julie & Don Buskovick and Ron Fuller put together items
and ordered a cake for the auction. A
thank you to them for doing this! The
cake brought in $325 for Young Life.
New Business: As
approved at the March meeting, Mike Corbin checked in to changing the bylaws to
divide the Secretary/Treasurer position in to two separate positions. He found that there is more that needs to be
done before this can take place. Mike,
Don and Craig will get details to present and be voted on at the next meeting.
Mike also had
information on a rally in the
Don was contacted by
the owner of the Out to Lunch restaurant in Waseca. He’s hoping there would be interest for some
Corvette’s to attend a car show there on Saturday July 19th from 5-9
P.M. It’s a Rib Fest, prizes, etc.
